ECU Health Schweitzer Fellows, Rachel Nguyen and Yushan Xie, and their Schweitzer mentor, Dr. Abrar Bakhsh, presented at ECU School of Dental Medicine’s 11th Celebration of Research and Scholarship (CORAS) event held on February 11, 2026. This event highlights research in dental medicine and scholarly pursuits by students, residents, and faculty. They presented their Schweitzer project, Accelerating Dental Clearance in Cancer Patients, to students and faculty, and live-streamed across eight Community Service Learning Centers across the state.
